When people get stuck in life, the majority of them tend to wait for external change. However, the right way to get unstuck is to find out what blocks your potential and to get rid of those blocks that stand between you and the abundance you seek in order to regain your ability to move forward.

A problem that is so common among people is that they are aware of their conscious beliefs and behaviors but not so much about their subconscious beliefs. The sad part here is that the majority of the human population is not aware that their subconscious mind is the most powerful tool in the world and it is a million times more powerful than the conscious mind. This means that our subconscious mind controls almost 95% of our lives based on our subconscious beliefs. 

So, your subconscious mind can either be your friend or your worst enemy blocking out all the doors to abundance and happiness in your life. In order to use this force correctly, you need to use it to work for you rather than against you. 

You can do this by getting out of your own way and removing the limiting beliefs, negative feelings, thoughts, and emotions that have become a part of your belief system. 


As within so without.


The first thing to do when you find yourself stuck is to admit to yourself that you are stuck and try to find the blocks that are stopping the good to flow towards you.

Blocks to abundance, while many people are not consciously aware of them are the main cause behind why even when you try hard enough, you don’t manage to reach the success you desire. Even though these blocks are not visible and apparently not many people talk about them, they can affect your life to a shocking degree. These hidden blocks are a result of traumatic experiences from the past, childhood upbringing, societal pressure, negative criticism, and much more.

Logically, we may be making all the right choices and doing all the right things, but deep down if we do not address these limiting beliefs on our subconscious level, we may always end up feeling helpless when it comes to our life experiences. 

Having these blocks is a very common thing and if you are someone who does literally everything right, yet fails to see the desired success, then you may have some subconscious beliefs that are blocking your abundance from flowing to you.

Transmutation of these limiting beliefs can lead you to live a happy and healthy life full of abundance.

Abundance blocks can be anything, it’s not just limited to money. These can be your negative emotions, feelings, thoughts, self-image, your daily habits along with your toxic environment. Basically, anything that doesn’t serve you in the best way and sabotages you is your block to abundance. It’s your job to identify these blocks and you can do that by simply taking a look at your life right now. What area do you struggle with the most and how does it hold you back and make you suffer? What sort of problems do you continually tend to face in your life? Taking a look at these facts will reveal to you what could be a potential block in your life. After identifying the blocks, you can then begin working on removing them. 


The Belief System That Blocks Your Potential


First, let’s talk about the belief system – Your mind creates your experiences and your reality.

As humans, we think with our conscious mind while our subconscious mind operates on auto-pilot. Our subconscious mind is responsible for forming patterns based on our belief system. All the thoughts, hopes, and dreams you have are determined by your belief system and so is your behavior. Every experience since you were a baby is stored here. 

A big part of your belief system was formed in the first years of your life when most of your brain waves were in Theta state. For adults, Theta brain waves occur most often during sleep and deep meditation when our senses are more focused on our internal signals than the external world. But children operate in Theta state more often, which means, during your childhood, you lived predominantly in the realm of your imagination without being limited by external factors. 

As you grew up, you downloaded thoughts, beliefs, and experiences that formed your reality. By the time you were 7 or 8 years old, you already had a solid foundation of beliefs based on all the programming done by people in your life and other environmental influences like the media, your friends, the books read to you, the music you listen to, and so on. These influences make you believe in a limited version of reality. 

It is important to understand that your subconscious mind is the base of your emotions, feelings, and beliefs. Behaviors and habits reside here. This part of your mind is much more powerful than the conscious mind.



What Blocks Your Potential?

In order to unlock your potential and get unstuck, you have to understand what causes the mental block in the first place. It’s also important to understand how each of these problems affects your abilities so you can put together a cohesive plan to get rid of them.


Subconscious Beliefs

If you cannot manifest what you want, you have to find out what is your subconscious blockage. Your experiences match your feelings and beliefs.

Your subconscious beliefs can block you from fulfilling your desires and achieving your goals. And in most cases, you are not even aware this is happening. Our body, our feelings and our beliefs are all energy. Energy has a specific frequency. You will attract the same frequency of the energy you send out. Negative beliefs will attract negative experiences and positive beliefs will attract positive experiences by the law of attraction.


Body Toxicity

Sometimes we are doing everything in our power to think positive but we are just exhausted physically and we just don’t have the energy we need to go through our day. This usually goes back to body toxicity. If you are not sure, ask yourself when was the last time you did a little detox? When was the last time you made sure you eat really healthy for at least, let’s say, 7 days in a row?



The most common potential blocker is self-doubt. Each and every person experiences self-doubt at least once in their life. However, self-doubt can manifest differently from person to person. Self-doubt makes you feel out of place. One person can experience self-doubt in the form of fear – fear of embarrassment or fear of trying something new. A different person can doubt their skills and get stuck in the process of figuring out a solution to their problems. Either way, self-doubt is a negative emotion and has a low frequency. 



Self-doubt and indecision usually go hand in hand. When you’re doubting yourself, you also question your judgment and your ability to make good decisions. Whether that’s because you don’t trust yourself or you struggle with the ability to focus, indecision can block your potential and stop you from achieving your goals. It is important to fix that pattern inside of you to change the experience you are creating.


Limited And Negative Mindset

Negative and limited mindsets can prevent you from growing and developing new skills, which can easily cause mental or creative blocks. When you believe your capabilities are limited, you spend a lot of time in your comfort zone and you, involuntarily, get tied to what is familiar, not being able to unlock your true potential. Failure is not actually real. We are either winning or we are learning. Either way, the Universe is supporting us so we are never losing. 



Probably the most damaging thing you can do when you’re trying to grow in your professional or personal life is to compare your progress and journey to the one of another person. Someone else’s success is not a threat to your own success and their achievements shouldn’t influence the way you think about yourself.
One of the reasons entrepreneurs start leaking energy is because they lose sight of what their real purpose is, they get off alignment, and they start comparing themselves to others.

The first is the inability to make a decision while the latter means being unable to figure out how to carry on and turn your decisions into actionable plans. Uncertainty is paralyzing and it can cause a wide range of negative emotions including anxiety and fear. 


No Boundaries And No Limits

While the sky is the limit when it comes to your potential, there are certain things you need to consider before drowning yourself in new projects and new tasks. Overestimating your abilities is just as bad as underestimating them. Not because you can’t learn or do certain things but because humans have limited resources and we all need rest and sleep. Overworking yourself can block your potential instead of unleashing it.

Potential blockers impact us in negative ways but once you identify them, it is easy to get unstuck and live up to your potential. Being stuck is not necessarily a bad thing because it can open the door of growth and self-development for you.

Oftentimes, people have breakthrough moments and achieve the most growth during their hardest times. Potential blockers can be seen as the necessary evil in your journey.
